Photography isn't only about creativity, it's also about patience and luck. It's those two aspects that yielded this shot here. It was a fleeting moment, the goose I was aiming with my camera just won't flap its wings, while the others out of frame kept striking a pose, as if they were taunting me as I miss my opportunities. It was a test of patience, but I knew I had to focus on a single goose and just wait for the right time. My window of opportunity was closing as the sun rises higher and higher, the goose started to hide in the shaded areas out of sight. It started to feel like a literal wild goose chase. Thankfully my efforts paid off in the end, as I managed to capture this magnificent, graceful moment. A gaggle of geese swimming around in a pond might seem mundane, so thought the other visitors of the park that day, but apparently, nature has its beauty anywhere for those lucky enough to look at just the right moment.
