Moths and grass

My parents' home is in Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija, a mostly rural town about 3 hours away from Manila. Whenever I get the chance, I make sure to visit my parents particularly during weekends. The house is surrounded by rice fields and patches of grass. I often take photowalks early in the morning in the surrounding fields while the grass is still wet from morning dew. I find it a relaxing and calming experience to look for subjects, particularly insects, that are still not very active and are thus more cooperative. For these photos, I used a Canon 55mm-250mm lens and tried its modest "macro" feature.
