Sun Bird on a bright morning

It was early in the morning when we heard the distinct chirping of the Sun Bird. We followed the chirping and saw the Sun Bird preparing to make a nest on a nearby Sampaloc tree. I was quite fortunate to be able to take a few quick photos. The Sun Bird was quite active, hopping from one tree branch to another, and staying in one place for only a few seconds. My parents' home is in Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija. Aside from the surrounding ricefields, there are still a lot of fruit trees near the house. Whenever I get the chance, I go home to Nueva Ecija to spend a few days with my parents. We actually heard the chirping Sun Bird while we were having coffee. I guess I was fortunate to be able to take the photo, which my parents really liked.
