Tiger in Rains

it was one such monsoon evening where rains were pouring heavily and with no trails of a big cat we decided to move towards the exit gate after listening to an alarm call of a peahen we decided to wait and move a further more it was around 5:45pm and the light was very low. The spotted deer were looking alert on the other side and very few along with me were looking at the peahen who alarmed a few mins back, I stood up watching at the powerline scape, a subadult tigress jumps out of a bush chasing the peahen, words can’t describe how I was feeling and the spotted deer herd screaming and running after watching the tiger, after which she sat on the bund as in the picture, with the powerline scape she sat like a queen and not even rains could stop her from showing up, such a bold tigress
