A half-day Saturday Pulau Ubin escapade to explore the macrophotography potential of the island. As the SG Rediscover Voucher was expiring on the last day of Dec 2021, a quick glance at Klook activities decided this was the event I wanted. The tour ($70) included a guide service, ferry fare (2 ways) and a return taxi ride to Chek Jawa. In all honesty, I don't need the guided service, as I have been to Ubin twice (2013 & 2015). It's an easy island to explore, so booking the guided trip was just to give our local company a bit of help. Pulau Ubin has not changed much and is a still gem of a place but prices have been creeping higher. Kudos to the nature activists for opposing Govt Masterplan to redevelop the island into a housing estate.
