The Indian Myna

After a long journey from Kerala to Kodai Kanal, I finally checked into my room, eager to unwind. I put down my bags, freshened up, and stepped out onto the balcony to soak in the serene ambiance. As the mist rolled gently over the hills, I noticed a few Indian Mynas exploring the field below. Suddenly, one of them flew up and perched gracefully on a tree top nearby, capturing my attention. Grabbing my Canon 1500D and 200mm lens, I quickly set the camera to auto mode and manually adjusted the focus. Despite being a novice, I managed to capture this beautiful image of the Myna against the slightly misty backdrop. This photograph, taken in that spontaneous moment, holds a special place in my heart as it marks the beginning of my bird photography journey. I am deeply grateful to Canon for making such moments possible.
