This image was clicked in the outskirts of Bhigwan in Jan 2020. We entered a forest area and were looking for raptors but we were not successful and we were heading towards the gate. It was about 6:30 pm and light was low and that is when I saw this short toed shake eagle perched on a tree. I quickly reduced the shutter speed to 1/250 and increased by EV to 2/3 and took few shots on my 100-400IS2 mounted on 7D MK2 . Surprisingly I was able to get a steady and a clear shot even at that low light, look at that beautiful eye . canon never disappoints !!
