I decided to play with my telephoto lens to capture things close-up. It was a pleasant surprise when I aimed at this potted plant in my kitchen window, and realized that the lens turned the sunlight reflecting off the tree behind into shiny bokeh circles, even though the aperture was so narrow at f/8. My mum couldn't recognize our plant. My smartphone couldn't achieve the same effect.
