I shot this picture at the Kotiling Temple during the Ambubachi Festival, a significant Hindu pilgrimage event honoring the menstruation cycle of the goddess Kamakhya. In the serene evening atmosphere, a group of Sadhus immersed themselves in worship under the gentle glow of scattered lights. With my Canon 6D Mark II and a 24-105mm lens, I carefully adjusted settings to accommodate the low light, maximizing the ISO for optimal clarity. The resulting image not only captures the profound devotion of the moment but also reflects the sacred aura of the Ambubachi Festival, a time of spiritual reflection and reverence.
