Dear Friends, do you like "lone" or "solitary" trees? There is the renowned Wanaka Tree at Lake Wanaka, South Island, New Zealand. But in Singapore, our highly urbanised landscape means a lone tree in a scenic setting is hard to come by. A few years back, a beautiful lone tree in Punggol was destroyed after being struck by lightning. I believe some of you might have chanced upon this little 'floating tree" at Changi Bay Point, which has been circulating on social media for quite some time. Do drop by to capture this lovely solitary tree when you are in the area. Just 30min walk (1 way) from Changi Car Park 7. When you see the lookout pavilion restroom, you would have arrived at the spot. Do take note of the tidal table for the ideal timing. Happy shooting.
