Photographers: Calibrate Your Monitor

Budding photographers often wonder why their images don't look the same when seen from their monitors and when they are printed. In an EOS World event on photo-printing we had in May, the Crafting Photo Masterpieces Through Prints with Barry Seah, one of the topics discussed during the workshop was monitor calibration. EOS World revisits this topic and interviews Archie Manawag of Cathay Photo in this article to explore further why it is important for photographers (and even film-makers) to have their monitors calibrated.
