During a day in early February. 2020, I attended my first Flower Festival Parade in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The floats and costumes were vibrant with resplendent colors. The parade ran around the Old City of Chiang Mai and eventually finished at a park in the southwestern part of the city. Having found a nice spot along the parade route, I used an Eos R camera and the RF 85mm 1.4 lens to mainly take portraits of some of the amazing parade participants. The weather was good and the associated outdoor light was not too intense in the late morning. I was pleased to have the good fortune to take photos of these folks in their beautiful costumes as they traveled past me. The photos are those of women wearing very striking costumes and gowns, and some of them are also beauty queens of Thailand.
