Key Features of RF Lenses
Native lenses to the EOS R System, RF and RF-S lenses have a new lens design that promises speed, improved Optical Image Stabilization (Optical IS) and higher image quality. The RF mount has a larger diameter, which allows wider lens elements to be placed closer to the sensor. With reduced refraction and aberrations, images captured by RF lenses have edge-to-edge sharpness with minimal light fallout.
RF lenses are compatible with both full-frame and APS-C cameras in the EOS R System.
Read on to learn about RF lens technology and the how it has brought about technical innovations and design improvements to RF lenses.
