On the evening of March 18th, 2017 Anisong Fantasy Live Vol.1 was held in Singapore. Featuring top anisong artists, Aimer, GARNiDELiA, Kalafina, Alisa Takigawa, ELISA, and Luna Haruna, the concert lasted over 2 hours and took place at the Megabox Event Hall @ Bigbox.
The Anisong Fantasy Live aims to make the audience’s greatest fantasy come true, by allowing collaborations between artists instead of simply gathering the best for a one-night-only concert. We daresay that it has achieved this goal.
A Canon Photo Party was organised for the concert, providing a fixed number of participants with an opportunity to photograph performing live on stage for just one song. Support from local audiences was overwhelming, with fans and aspiring photographers jumping at the rare opportunity, and applications pouring in once word got out about it. Altogether, over 60 shutterbugs got the chance to participate in the Photo Party.
The selected song for the Party was a collaboration between singer Luna Haruna and group GARNiDELiA, who performed Eir Aoi’s “Innocence” together.
Photo Party participants were invited to submit the photos they took during the event for a photo contest. The submissions were shown to Luna Haruna and GARNiDELiA, and here are their favourite shots!

GARNiDELiA had the following comments about the winning photo: “There's a real sense of motion. It's a really cute shot of Runaru (Luna's nickname).” MARiA also commented, “It feels like something is about to happen!! (((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))”
As the overall winner, Boris Kuek wins a brand-new Canon SELPHY CP1200 Photo Printer. Congratulations! Also, kudos to Philson, Jia Xing and Joshua, whose photos were the artists’ picks.
