They are primarily browsers, feeding on a variety of vegetation, including leaves, fruits, and shrubs. Sambar deer also play an essential role in their ecosystem, influencing plant dynamics and serving as prey for larger carnivores like tigers and leopards. Shot using Canon R5 with 100-500 mm RF.
