When we talk about summer, we think sun, sea and the beach. That's what I thought too, and bought a day trip tour from Florence Concierge, from the centre of Florence to the famous Cinque Terre. The bus ride to La Spezia was around 2-3 hours, depending on traffic. By the time we reached La Spezia, we were greeted by beautiful sunny weather, and people everywhere. To get to Cinque Terre, was a scheduled short train ride. By the time I got to the beach, it was already midday. The streets was busy, tourists trying to get handcrafted souvenirs of all kinds. Oh, other than the sun, sea and beach, I have to mention about gelatos and ice cream granola bars. With the summer weather, even a photo couldn't do justice to the feeling of savoury ice cream melting in your mouth. Unfortunately, my day at Cinque Terre was short lived because of the tour. Cinque Terre has to experienced for a full day, 3D2N if possible. Given my limited time, i hope my photo has done the place justice.
