Its a was a hot afternoon when we saw the broadbills flying around. We try to get as close as we can without scaring them. When the birds get comfortable with us, they started to perch lower and posed for us too. Waited for at least 3 hours but its worth it.


I discovered wildlife photography in late Dec 2016 when a photographer showed me photos of an Olive-backed Sunbird. I had no idea that such a common bird in Singapore is so pretty and we often went about our lives without noticing them. I became intrigued with more birds and animals and started looking for wildlife photography gear in early 2017.
