The user-friendly EOS M10 is an entry level mirrorless camera that is equipped with an 18-megapixel APS-C sensor and a fast Hybrid CMOS AF II autofocus system that help you capture high quality images. In addition, the camera also comes with a 180-degree tilting touchscreen LCD (Self-Portrait mode is activated once screen is tilted up), allowing you to shoot from various angles. We brought the EOS M10 out and experimented with its adjustable screen to capture some low-angle shots. The results? Our shots came out stronger and more dynamic in perspective!

When the subject is near the ground, flip up the LCD screen so you can view it and capture the shot without having to lie down on your stomach
We often don’t take enough notice of things we pass by every day, like the little plants thriving on the sidewalk, or the blossoming flower by a lamppost. Take time to observe, go low angle to see what you usually don’t see, and capture subjects that are inconspicuous, because you may just find beauty in the least obvious.

Jump shots are best taken from a low angle. With EOS M10, you can easily capture the shot with the convenience of its tilting screen
Besides placing your camera at a lower angle to capture a dynamic jump shot, also consider the use of shutter speed. Fast shutter speed helps freeze the action and capture the moment. Switch to a slow shutter speed if you want to create a beautiful motion blur in your photo.

To photograph pets effectively, go on the same level as them and make use of the camera’s tilting screen to capture a good shot
