This was a devastated community in San Antonio, Town of Basey in Samar after the onslaught of Typhoon Haiyan in 2013. The area was not directly on the path of the eye of the storm, but its fury carried a huge amount of tidal surge that eventually contributed to massive destruction of the coastal communities in the islands of Samar and Leyte.
