Creating more dynamic and visually appealing OOTD photos will not only help you get many more ‘likes’ on Instagram, it also makes your shots more interesting to look at. Sit Instead of Stand

OOTD shots are not limited to standing up poses. Try sitting down, turn to your side to show off your outfit, and just relax. Look directly into the camera or away to create a variety of looks.

Get Closer

Instead of the entire outfit, show off your festive accessories. Those gold ribbon-shaped earrings need some attention, too. Close-up shots are trickier because your face would become the focus of the photo. Avoid shooting straight on, but tilt your head slightly for a sharper chin.

Include Props in Your Shot

For this festive photoshoot, we included the Christmas tree as part of the shoot. Try to interact with your props by holding or touching them, or in this instance, get really close for a heart-warming feel.

Tiptoe to Stand Taller

Don’t have a model height? Not a problem. Always point your feet to gain that extra inches. This is also a trick to make you look taller/longer on camera. Use this tip for standing or sitting shots to achieve legs for days.

Show Off the Details

Sometimes, the most interesting things are in the details. In the shot above, the patterned bustier has a cute ribbon on its back, and it would be a shame to neglect this detail in your OOTD shot. Turn your back to the camera, stand 45-degrees to the side, and strike a pose!
