Canon is proud to introduce Dean Fujioka, Japanese actor and musician, as the ambassador for Canon EOS M5.
As an artist, Dean actively looks for inspirations to help him with his work, present and future. An enthusiastic photographer that he is, seeing the world through a viewfinder is a way for him to find fresh ideas. He also travels the world, experiencing different sights, sound and culture, not forgetting to keep those memories by snapping them into pictures. With the Canon EOS M5, Dean can keep creating, where every sights and sound inspire new stories to tell.
Dean Fujioka was born in Fukushima, Japan and moved to Seattle, United Stated for college. After graduating, he traveled throughout Asia, stopping in Hong Kong to begin a career in acting and modeling. His first performance in Hong Kong movie title "August Story" garnered much attention. He then moved to Taiwan and became a sensation, getting various appearances in dramas, movies and commercials. In Indonesia, he started writing and composing his own songs. Back in Japan, he starred in NHK morning drama series "Asa ga Kita" and just this year, he acted as one of the main protagonists of Japan's top rated drama "Please Love Me!”.
Back in March 2016, Dean released his first album titled “Cycle”. One of the tracks in the album, “Priceless,” is featured as the official song for Canon EOS M5 Asia campaign.
