The stunning image resolution and cinematic, seamless footage was no doubt made possible by the 30.4-megapixel CMOS sensor, DIGIC 6+ image processor, and the powerful Dual Pixel CMOS AF and subject tracking system. The latter is important to ensure smooth focusing, particularly when recording movies in a resolution as high as 4K.
