The Canon Photo Party at Anime Festival Asia (AFA) Indonesia 2016 took place on 18-19 September 2016 during the I Love Anisong concert, part of AFA Indonesia which was held in Jakarta at the Jakarta International Expo and attended by over 80,000 people. The concert was held over 2 days, and featured 9 artists in total. Each day, one song was selected for the Photo Party.

 

The Canon Photo Party is organized by Canon, who was one of the exhibitors at the event, where they also provided photo taking opportunities, trials and loans of cameras and lenses. The Photo Party provides a chance for the fans and attendees to photograph their favourite performing artist on stage for one song during a concert—an opportunity considered very rare in the Japanese music industry. At AFA Indonesia 2016, the Photo Party took place during performances by ELISA and bless4.

 

ELISA

A beautiful, refined looking lady, ELISA is a professional model who debuted as a singer in 2007. She has since released 5 albums and 12 singles, with many songs for the anime. For the I Love Anisong concert at AFA Indonesia, ELISA crooned her best tunes, charming the attendees.

Dressed in the long white gown for the concert, ELISA appeared like an angel on stage. The Canon Photo Party’s participants clearly enjoyed the view and the chance to photograph her beauty.

 

bless4

bless4 consists of a family of entertainers is well-known for their performances and the uplifting songs. Having lived in the United States for a period, all members of the group can speak in fluent English. The Canon Photo Party on Day 2 of the I Love Anisong concert was held during one of their songs, and the group members encouraged photo-taking with their interesting onstage banter.

After the concert, Canon Photo Party participants were encouraged to submit their photos for a photo contest. The winner for this round was Said, who shot his photo with a Canon PowerShot SX50 HS.
