The first Canon Photo Party of 2017 happened on 19 February 2017 at Taipei International Conventional Centre with the incredible Takanori Nishikawa, better known as T.M.Revolution. It is also the first the Canon Photo Party to be held in the city of Taipei, and it took place at T.M.Revolution’s T.M.R. LIVE REVOLUTION’16-’17 -Route 20 ASIA TOUR- to Taipei.

 

Calls for participation were met with an overwhelming response, numbering well over 100 applications within the two-week period. This proved that this special event supported by Canon was a very popular activity with fans from within Taiwan as well as its surrounding countries.

As per Canon Photo Party tradition, one song in the concert’s setlist —in this case, the third song, “HIGH PRESSURE”—was dedicated to give Canon Photo Party participants a chance to take photos of the legendary singer.

 

Photo contest winner!

Post-concert, a photo contest was held, giving the participants the opportunity to submit photos that would be reviewed by Nishikawa and a panel of judges. Out of the many submissions gathered from the eager participants, the following photo, taken by Shinobu Takahashi, a fan visiting from Japan to attend the concert, caught Nishikawa’s eye and was selected to win.
