EOS M6

Capturing travel self-portraits with a difference

When travelling, there are countless moments of solitude; they come, they go, they are. However fleeting they might be, these moments are clearly yours to keep, to enjoy in your own way. You can commit them to memory, these shadows of yourself. Carefully collect them, revisit them ad nauseum, until the good and bad are blurred. You write down your deepest thoughts before sleeping, and let the mind run free when you’re awake. Every experience you encounter is at once new and refreshing, yet familiar and comforting. Every moment not preserved is lost forever, and only when you’ve missed it do you realise that that was what you were looking for. When you’re alone, there’s nothing you can’t do, and nowhere you can’t go. As you press the shutter, you capture the true meaning of what it is to travel.

3 key advantages of the EOS M6 for self-portraits!

1. It’s light and easy to carry around

A lightweight and portable camera is a must for self-portraits. Despite its metal body, the EOS M6 is still incredibly light, weighing in at only 343 grams. Whatever sized camera bag you use, rest assured that your bag can accommodate your camera with ease!

2. The tiltable LCD monitor makes taking self-portraits very convenient

The LCD monitor, tiltable upwards to 180 degrees, makes it a cinch to take selfies as you can easily view yourself on screen. When combined with a tripod, you can even find the best angles when composing the image to effortlessly take stunning self-portraits!

3. Establishing focus is a breeze with the touchscreen

The one thing people hate when shooting self-portraits is losing focus. To prevent this from happening, the EOS M6 is equipped with Dual Pixel CMOS AF, which has up to 49 AF points, offering a high level of precision. You can also make use of touchscreen operations to focus and shoot. Just touch the screen to focus on yourself, and capture great self-portraits every time!
